SMARTSURFACE Technology — moisture where it matters most

SMARTSURFACE Technology is a permanent, micro-thin layer of moisture built into the outside of the lens. It carries over 80% water at the surface — fully encapsulating the silicone hydrogel core — and is designed to support a stable tear film and a smooth, lubricious lens-on-eye feel that lasts through the day.

Breathable silicone hydrogel core

The verofilcon A core is a true silicone hydrogel with 51% water content and a Dk/t of 100 — letting plenty of oxygen pass directly through the lens material to your cornea, helping keep your eyes white, bright and feeling healthy through a full day of wear.

Built for first-time and returning wearers

Alcon designed PRECISION1 around the three things that most often make new wearers give up on lenses: clear vision, lasting comfort and easy handling. Class 1 UV protection

PRECISION1 includes a Class 1 UV-blocking filter — the highest UV classification available in contact lenses — absorbing more than 99% of UVB and over 90% of UVA rays that reach the lens. Useful extra protection for everyday outdoor light, though lenses don't cover the whole eye and aren't a substitute for UV-protective sunglasses.

Easy to handle, easy to wear

A light blue edge-to-edge handling tint makes each lens easy to find in the blister and easy to handle during insertion and removal — without affecting your eye colour or your vision.
